cincinnati is not on my usual route, although i've seen this dumpster full of canned goods before; it's a regular thing although not every day. this is one that should be hit at night since it's in full view of the workers. i don't know if they lock it at night, i dont think so. if you are in cincy and could use a ton of canned goods per month, pm me for the location.

Obtaining Passport Records for Issuances 1925 to Present
A. Seeking a copy of (A) your passport records; (B) the passport records of your minor child or an incompetent person as to whom you are a legal guardian; or (C) the passport records of someone for whom you have their specific written authorization. This is considered a Privacy Act request.
Passport Services maintains United States passport records for passports issued from 1925 to the present. These records normally consist of applications for United States passports and supporting evidence of United States citizenship, and they are protected by the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended, 5 U.S.C. § 552a. Passport records do not include evidence of travel such as entrance/exit stamps, visas, residence permits, etc., since this information is entered into the passport book after it is issued.
The Privacy Act allows you to obtain copies of records in your own name and the name(s) of your minor children or an incompetent person for whom you are authorized to act as a guardian, as well as records in the name of any person who has properly authorized you to obtain them. To request these records, please submit a typed or clearly printed request that provides:
- The full name at birth and any subsequent name changes of the individual whose records you are requesting, and if you are requesting records for your children or using an authorization, provide your full name as well.
- Evidence of legal authorization if you are requesting records about anyone other than yourself, evidence of the parental relationship if you are requesting records about your minor child(ren), and evidence of the guardian relationship if you are requesting records about someone as to whom you are a legal guardian;
- The date and place of birth of the individual whose records you are requesting;
- Your current mailing address;
- Your current daytime telephone number;
- Your current e-mail address, if available;
- The date or estimated date the passport(s) was issued;
- The passport number of the person whose records you are seeking, if known, and any other information that will help us locate the records; and
- A clear copy of both sides of your valid Government-issued photo identification (e.g., a driver’s license).
The request must be signed and notarized or made under penalty of perjury pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1746. If you are making the request on behalf of another as an authorized representative, you may use DS-4240, the Department’s Certification of Identity form, to provide proof of authorization.
Please note that privacy act records requests that are not notarized or do not include a copy of the requester’s valid government issued photo ID will be returned. The processing time for copies of passport records generally takes 8 to 12 weeks.
There are no fees to request a regular copy of your passport records, those of your minor children or an incompetent person for whom you act as a guardian, or as an authorized representative for another individual U.S. citizen. If you wish to obtain certified copies of these records, the certification fee is $50.00. If you plan to use these records in a country that is a party to the Hague Apostille Convention, you may obtain an apostilled copy for $8.00. Checks or money orders should be made payable to “Department of State” and mailed with the request above to the address below. If you would like a certified copy of a passport record, send requests for your passport records directly to Passport’s Office of Legal Affairs and Law Enforcement Liaison, Law Enforcement Liaison Division, at the address below:

hepatitis c 2% of usa population, 3% of world population. 50-80% undiagnosed.
in 2008, 15,000 deaths. so comparable to auto accidents or vietnam war. (usa deaths only, some 42K)
need more recent figures.
of those who get the virus, 1/3 or so clear it, the others have a chronic condition that 20ish get cirocis within 20 years. so it's a slow killer, but deadly to maybe 1/5th. so maybe 1 million usa people with the serious kind, but only 15,000 deaths a year, so it's something most people can live with. that's 1.5% chance of death per year, not terrible. but can be improved. sot hat's why they are restricting treatment to the seriously ill - most people dont need the treatment yet.

billing note: 4/11/2016
wrote from 7:30-9:30. proposed representation agreement.
emails: 6, 1 to client, 2 from cocounsel, 2 to cocounsel, 1 from and to a prospective co-counsel, so that's 7. Mimnimum billing increment is .15 hours, so that's 1 hour of emails.
Phone calls: 0.
spent 15 minutes at 2pm putting up a big chart on the wall of documents that i need to prepare as part of the litigation package.
So that's 3.25 hours.
I spent 45 minutes taking notes on http://federalpracticemanual.org/.
So that's 4.0 hours for the day which is the maximum I consider reasonable to bill in a day, usually.
I worked on the case off and on during the rest of the day, taking breaks for coffee, went out and bought a heater and picked up a mattress, one non-work phone call, but no sustained work, jusy sporadic bits. What I want to work on next is outlining the memo in support for the motion for TRO and temporary injunction.
Didn't go to the dentist or the bank.
I'll need to start doing daily and weekly billing summaries with a rolling subtotal.
billing note tuesday 4/12/2016
9 emails
1 to rodney
4 from xander
4 to xander
2 phone calls
1 to rodney mbi [minimum billing increment] on hold, then left message.
1 to xander, 15 minutes.
so 1.6 hours = 11 mbi.
0.75 hours hour revising complaint based on xander's newest info noon to 1pm.
2.3 hours running total today.
plans: outline memo in support of motion for injunction. review affidavit of indigency.
1.0 hours on memo at 3 pm
3 more emails. 1 from rodney, 1 to rodney and chuck, 1 to xander and helen.
4 more emails, xander to from, rodney to from.
so i have maxed out at 4 hours today. (my general rule is that i don't bill more than 4 hours a day on a case as "reasonable". i should still keep track of extra hours worked, in case the court cuts my hourly fee, because what's reasonable to bill at $23/hr might look different if billed at $100/hr; more of my hours actually spent could be billed, at the lower rate. so start a file for hours spent but not billed.)
5-7 pm, 2 more hours not billed.
11:45-midnight, 2 more emails.

The 1976 Supreme Court decision in Nebraska Press Association v. Stuart upheld prior restraints on media as unconstitutional. In the 40 years since this decision media outlets have changed dramatically. A panel of legal and media experts will discuss the case’s impact on the legal and media systems today.
